Rockstar – A movie that defines Passion

Saw movie after lots of review and after knowing nearly most part of the movie ( Thanks to my siblings J ). This movie was treated special even  before its release, because of an unique combination of 3 brilliant, talented men i.e. Imtiaz Ali (the visionary of ROCKSTAR), Ranbir Kapoor ( the ROCKSTAR ) and A.R.Rahman (the soul of ROCKSTAR). Having such a great pool of talent assembling together for a project. The project has to be special.
Initial review of this movie were varying, of which everyone appreciated is Performance of Ranbir Kapoor and even claimed to be the best actor of the season. So, before entering the hall was pretty clear about the whole content of the movie. But that wait seemed fruitful, as I was more prepared for a bit complex ( or Matured ) narration of Imtiaz and a mind blowing act of Ranbir. Ranbir has just proved how passionate he is about film making. He has made a solid connect with audience by making them feel, breath and react like the character Jordan. Essaying this character by a different Actor-Director would have been far more difficult. Since complicated feeling are better felt rather than explained – and this duo has done this job of making audience feel magnificently.

Portraying a Rock performance had taken a giant leap when ‘ROCK ON’ was released and they had created a benchmark, difficult to break. But this ROCKSTAR has just gone beyond ROCK ON in those terms and credit goes to the cinematographer Anil Mehta – on Aaja Nachle fame.

Overall, this movie will be appreciated for many years for its great acting, different narration and good music. Way to go Imtiaz –Ranbir – Rahman…

Why to write here???

A question that has been occupying a small part of my mind for a long time now. Sometimes the question arises, is it required...  what is the use of it ?? But sometimes it seems that somethings are good when expressed. And this is the  platform where I can express my thoughts

Actually, I have never been a good reader, being good at writing is far away. But few small events of life has made me think that I do express better when written. I still remember the way my dear sister was happy after reading few lines that I had written for her. Small things like this motivates a lot...

This will basically be a small journey for me, and I would like to see the way  it moulds further. I would be very happy, if any of my thoughts become useful for anybody.

As Aamir Khan had once said in his opening lines while delivering a speech for the first time in Marathi, that "Marathi shikaayla mi nukti nukti survaat keli aahe, mhanun tumhi taalya vajavlya tar mala protsahan milel. Haslaat tar mi mazha abhyaas adhik jorat karin" , which means "I have recently started learing Marathi, so if you applaud then it will encourage me. And if you laugh then I will learn marathi with more intensity"

So taking inspiration from this great actor, I would also try to get into this new world of writing :) ... Thank you, Shailendra
